It’s been quite the last couple weeks, to say the least. It feels as if I’m making such a large transition in my life, and moving out of the city is small in retrospect to whats about to come. With everything thats happened with my own personal battles, my relationships with friends, my family and boys, it’s been such a interesting time in my life, and even through all the emotional turmoil thats been present lately, I feel so refreshed and enlightened, more then I ever have before.
It’s interesting to be going through something this changing, and it’s really special to be mentally present through this transition, and I can honestly say this is a really enriching time in my life and I want to remember every awful moment, happy moment and beautiful moment to help myself find some balance between the good and the not-so-good.
Last evening for instance was a night I probably won’t ever forget. My good friend Sarah and I thought it’d be an awesome idea to go bike riding down our street at 1am since our street is a huge downhill, and the weather was flawless. Then we got the genius idea to bike down to Yonge and Dundas square (mind you, since it was 1 in the morning we were both in our pyjamas, with no cellphones, money or anything), just because we could and the evening was so beautiful it was inevitable. We ended up riding through the empty square in and out of the fountains until a nice ol’ security guard said we had to leave…soon after I took Sarah through my schools campus and showed her all the different faculties and such.
These past few days have been quite novel, in short. Although I’m moving back home for a few months before I return, and possibly some good ol’ out patient treatment yet again, I will be back in the city fully refreshed and back into a new apartment to build new memories with a new roommate. I can only be hopeful at this time in my life, cause I sense great things to come.
